Rose Hathway is a dhampir her job is too look after Lissa her bestfriend the moroi,they both are forced too run away as they fear what they have seen,only they know what's to come ,but when Dimitri the handsome dhampir/teacher at St Vladmir's aka Vampire Academy comes to take them back to Vampire Academy they never expected too go back. Rose is faced with more obstacles-two of them are not to fall in love with Dimitri and not too trust anyone;especially Chistan Ozera the boy who happens to look creepy -mysterious and likes Lissa she fears the worst is around the corner and she that she might not be able to save Lissa this time!
This book changed my life it got me reading other books, Vampire academy was the first book I read and loved, the title is cheesy but the story line is like no other book out there. It defines that "Love and loyalty run deeper than blood" as a reader I felt it was easy to imagine and just immpeccable! If you haven't read it read it don't just watch the film BTW if you do decide to watch the film read or listen to the book before hand!
