This book has two pov's one is about pretty boy aka Ryan he first sees her in a taco shop and buys her a taco and asks for her number but he doesn't know who she is well she has her pov and her name is Beth she gets forced to live with her uncle Scott which she sees after so many years he's back with his wife and he knows that Beth needs guidance and she is not only lost but has the pressure of the earth  pressing down on her the only reason she got into this mess is by protecting her mother from her brutal boyfriend ; Ryan likes Beth from the minute he sees her it doesn't show at first until she comes to town to live with her uncle ; her uncle has a name in this town and a huge reputation and is one of Ryan's idols what happens when Scott tells Ryan too look out for Beth he does look out for her and he plays her ; he does a bet with his friends and the bet was to go out with Beth . But Beth plays hard to get the least of her worries are getting involved with Ryan and when her best friend Isaiah admits he has feelings for her she doesn't know what to say because she sees him as a bro not her boyfriend and when she admits that to him he is no longer by her side ; she needs to get her mum away from her boyfriend but she can't do it on her own ; along the way Ryan realises Beth is different from the others she understands  him and she realises he understands her but when she finally agrees on a date she is left heart broken knowing it was just a bet ; Ryan finally admits to Him self girls like Beth don't come and go they only come once in a life time and since now one is by her side he realises maybe he could be her pillar to lean on and to love . Beth then knows  Ryan has feelings for her but she doesn't believe him and we all know Ryan is gonna fight for her properly and he does he proves his love to her by mending his family an doing something he wants for the first time which is following his heart and going after Beth he doesn't go after her for anyone but himself he needs her she is his half and who can't resist chuck Taylor's ! I loved this book because Ryan prove he's not just the Taco Bell boy but he is more and Beth learns loving someone is not wrong and doing the right thing is not wrong either !
